The incredible Kalibiru river

As the name suggests, the water in this river has clear water, looking like blue crystal. The Kalibiru River is located inside Raja Ampat, precisely in Kampung Warsambin, Teluk Mayalibit District, Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua.

When sunlight hits the river bed, water molecules automatically absorb red in the light spectrum, then yellow, green, and purple. Blue is recently absorbed by water molecules. This is why colors seen with the naked eye appear bluish.
